How many melts should I use at a time?

There is no right answer! The larger your room and/or the stronger you prefer your scent to be, the more you should use at a time. However, AWOW melts are created to the maximum possible scent load, so we suggest you begin with just a few and add more until you find your ideal number.

How many melts come in a jar?

Due to the human element of hand pouring every batch of melts, the number in each jar may vary by one or two hearts. We package by weight and round up as needed. Our 2oz jars average 56 hearts, 1oz average 28 hearts, and .5oz average 14 hearts.

How safe are AWOW melts?

We make no health or safety claims about our products except to pledge to source materials we trust. Our melts are 100% soy wax. Our fragrances are sourced from suppliers committed to quality. Our colorants are liquid and mica-free. And, of course, our products require no flame!

AWOW melts are scented, poured, packaged, and used in our home. We trust our products around our 80lb German Shepherd and 4lb Chihuahua-mix.

What can I do with my jars when they’re empty?

Clean your jars by first wiping out any wax crumbs with a dry paper towel, then wash with a paper towel and hot, soapy water. We recommend Dawn. Rinse and let dry.
Our fragrance oils are rated for body use, so jars can be reused for just about any purpose EXCEPT FOOD.
